Educational Activities

Shihsanhang Museum of Archaeology has arranged a series of classes based on the divergent interests of different age groups and people from different backgrounds. This diverse teaching environment was developed to provide interested members of the public with the chance to learn more. It also serves to facilitate greater interaction between the museum and the public.

Activities currently planned include:

Indoor Activities:

1. Soap DIY class: Make your own soap with aboriginal patterns or relics found in Taiwan.

2. Discovery center: Seasonal free classes for children.

Outdoor Activities:

- The “New Taipei City Sun Festival” is held every summer.

- Occasional Austronesian activities, such as outdoor cooking, singing and dancing rituals, and camping are held in the Sunshine Plaza. These introduce participants to the Austronesian Culture and teach the importance of respecting different races.
